Big news, Prosers!
I am absolutely thrilled and humbled to announce that VoyageHouston has featured me in an incredible interview titled “Conversations with Mara Prose”. This recognition means the world to me, and I’m beyond grateful to the VoyageHouston team for this opportunity to share my journey as an author, publisher, and all-around storyteller.

The interview itself was such a breeze—thoughtful questions that allowed me to reflect deeply on my creative path, my love for writing, and the challenges I’ve overcome to get where I am today. From my early days scribbling stories as a child to founding Mara Prose Publishing and writing books like The Davenports: A Battle of Wills and The Queen of Marriage, this piece touches on the highs, the lows, and everything in between.

The recognition feels surreal because, as many of you know, my journey hasn’t been a smooth one. From book-signing disasters (yes, I’m talking about that snowy day with The Davenports!) to moments of self-doubt, there have been plenty of challenges. But interviews like this remind me why I keep going—because of YOU. The readers, the dreamers, the fellow writers who inspire me every single day.

I would be honored if you’d take a few moments to read the feature: Conversations with Mara Prose. It’s a celebration of creativity, resilience, and the passion that fuels everything I do. My hope is that this interview not only inspires you but also gives you a deeper connection to my work and my mission.

To everyone who has supported Mara Prose Publishing, my books, and my creative journey: THANK YOU. This recognition isn’t just mine—it’s ours. Let’s continue to write, dream, and grow together, one story at a time.

Here’s to what’s next,
Mara Prose
