Black Legacy Spotlight in Partnership with Black Women Empowered, Inc.

Black Legacy Spotlight, in partnership with Black Women Empowered, Inc., celebrates the people, moments, institutions, and achievements that continue to shape Black history in real time. This space is dedicated to honoring Black excellence, amplifying stories of impact, and recognizing the legacy being built all around us, in business, education, culture, innovation, leadership, and community. Because Black history is not only something we look back on. It is something we are creating every day.

That gives you a strong, polished opening before the videos begin.

Black Legacy Spotlight: Megan Piphus
She stayed true to who she is, and a generation of young dreamers gets to watch it happen.

From Sesame Street’s first Black woman puppeteer to her very own Disney Jr. preschool series, Megan Piphus is proof that representation, creativity, and excellence change what our children believe is possible.

This is what the Black Legacy Spotlight is all about. Black Women Empowered celebrates women who stay true to themselves and builds the connections that carry legacy forward.
